Pipe problems range from a simple joint leak to full-house repiping. We handle copper pipe repair, PEX pipe repair, pipe insulation, and whole-house repiping with PEX. We also replace washing machine boxes and ice maker lines — every job gets a single flat figure at the house, agreed to before the water is even shut off. If your home needs more than a spot repair — corroded galvanized pipe, recurring pinhole leaks, or polybutylene throughout — see our dedicated whole-home repipe page for how that project is planned and sequenced.

Many older DFW homes built in the 1980s-90s have polybutylene pipes that are prone to failure. If your home has polybutylene (gray plastic pipes), we strongly recommend repiping with PEX before a catastrophic failure occurs. A whole-house repipe is a significant investment — payment options are available on larger jobs; ask when we quote yours.

Upfront pricing — three ways to get one

Flat-rate, approved by you before any work starts. You pay for the work, not for a truck in your driveway. What you pay to find out depends on what you already know.

Know what needs replacing?

Photo or phone quote

Water heater, toilet, faucet, disposal, a repipe — anything where you already know what needs replacing. Send a photo and we price it without sending a truck. Costs you nothing, obligates you to nothing.

Don't know what's wrong?
$150

Service visit

A licensed plumber diagnoses it on site. Covers the visit and the first 30 minutes of work — and it applies to the repair if you go ahead with one. It is also our minimum charge, so a small fix is often this and nothing more.

Need a specific test?
From $189

A named diagnostic

Pressure and PRV test, hydrostatic test, sewer scope, camera inspection, slab leak investigation. Each one is a fixed price with a written result you keep — real work with a real deliverable, not a sales call.

Evenings, weekends and holidays add a $149 after-hours fee, which members don't pay. The flat rate for the work itself never changes, and you approve every number before we start.

Frequently Asked Questions

How much does pipe repair cost in Dallas?
A spot repair on one leaking joint sits at the opposite end of the range from a whole-house repipe, and the material matters too — copper, PEX, or failure-prone polybutylene — along with how much wall, attic, or crawl-space access the run requires and, for repipes, the size of the home and number of fixtures. Whatever we quote is all-in: diagnosis, pipe and fittings, labor, patch-ready cleanup, and a 1-year workmanship warranty. Replacing a fixture? Send a photo and we'll quote it free. If the problem needs diagnosing, the $150 service visit covers that and the first 30 minutes — and it applies to the repair. You approve the flat rate before any work starts.
What are polybutylene pipes and should I replace them?
Polybutylene (poly-b) pipes are gray plastic pipes installed in many DFW homes built 1978-1995. They're prone to sudden failure due to chemical reactions with chlorine in water. If your home has them, we recommend repiping with PEX.
Do you offer payment options?
Yes — for larger jobs like a whole-house repipe, ask about payment options when we quote your job. We'll walk you through what's available before you approve anything.
